Hi! I’m Angie.
I’m Angie, owner of CityGirl Sugaring + Skincare. I have been in the spa industry since 2002 and a licensed esthetician in NC since 2009. Like many of you, I had no idea what sugaring was—I didn’t even find out about it from another professional in my field. The first person that explained this technique to me was my daughter’s dentist! She went on and on about how much better it was than waxing—less painful, fewer (if any) ingrown hairs, lasted longer, no skin irritation…needless to say, I was intrigued. I registered for the first class I could find—the closest educator to me was six hours away, but I had a feeling it would be worth it. In class, I experienced the difference for myself, and I was hooked. I wanted to provide that same experience for my clients—now that’s what I get to do every day, and teaching others to do the same is my newest passion. Whether you’re a new client or a new student, I’m looking forward to showing you the difference sugaring can make!
